Please ensure your business meets all eligibility criteria before proceeding:
Step 1:
Advertise all vacant positions using:
- Canada Job Bank (must remain current throughout recruitment process)
- Manitoba Start
- Work in Manitoba Job Portal
- One (1) additional general employment website
Job ads must be posted in all outlets mentioned above for four (4) continuous weeks immediately preceding the employer application to Employer Services and should remain active while looking for candidates. Web links to all current job postings and/or copy of job ads must be provided.
Step 2:
Complete the Employer Direct Initiative Application Form.
Ensure all sections of the form are completed and provide information as required.
Step 3:
Submit the Employer Direct Initiative Application Form to employerdirect@gov.mb.ca, along with the supporting documentation outlined on the document checklist (section F of the application).
NOTE:
Incomplete applications will be returned to the sender and not processed.
All documents must be submitted separately, and only in PDF format.
Do not submit encrypted or password protected PDF attachments. If encrypted attachments are sent, they may be blocked from the Government of Manitoba environment and Employer Services will not receive any notification that an email was sent.
Government of Manitoba does not accept emails with attachments if they can not be scanned and evaluated for malware.
