The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) receives an allocation of nominations each year from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). For 2025, Manitoba was allocated 4,750 nominations in early January 2025, which was a decrease of 50 per cent in comparison to the nomination allocation for 2024. Recently, the MPNP received an increase of 1,489 nominations for the year, bringing the total to 6,239 nominations for 2025. This increase bolsters MPNP’s capacity to address provincial labour market needs and deliver on Manitoba’s strategic priorities.
