Newcomer Community Integration Support Program

The Manitoba government is now accepting applications under the Newcomer Community Integration Support (NCIS) Program. Manitoba Settlement Support Services (MSSS) (previously known as the Newcomer Community Connections Stream) provides funding to service providers to support them in enhancing settlement and integration services and programs that facilitate the social and economic integration of newcomers in Manitoba.

Funded projects are expected to enhance and accelerate the settlement and integration of newcomers, enable them to participate fully in the community and contribute to a growing economy in Manitoba, and align with the mandate of the Department of Labour and Immigration. The MSSS also intends to fill gaps in newcomer services in Manitoba by providing funding for complementary settlement and integration services for newcomers that are not funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
