MPNP to participate in Emigratiebeurs Emigration Expo

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) will be participating in the upcoming Emigratiebeurs Emigration Expo and Career Fair in Houten (Utrecht), Netherlands from April 1 to 2, 2023.

The Expo is one of Europe's largest events for emigrants. Farmers, students, entrepreneurs, and job seekers with diverse experience will be in attendance. The MPNP will be promoting its Farm Investor Pathway, Business Investor Stream, and Skilled Worker Stream to attract potential immigrants from a wide variety of fields to Manitoba.

Interested employers may register on the Work in Manitoba job portal. Interested international job seekers can register here. Employers who require additional information may send an email to employerdirect@gov.mb.ca. Candidates interested in the MPNP Business Investor Stream, including its Farm Investor Pathway, may send an email to MPNP-BusinessStream@gov.mb.ca.

Updated process for work permit support letter requests

As of March 15, 2023, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has updated the process for provincial nominees to request work permit support letters (WPSL). The updated process can be found on the Work Permit Support Letters page, including the request form.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is requiring all work permit support letter requests use the new process.

Requests for work permit support letters should be submitted at least two months before your current work permit expires to allow sufficient time to process the request.
